Some of the flowers within Flora & Fragility are becoming increasingly difficult to find in the wild.
Release Two brings these species to the foreground — translating botanical research into print, colour and clothing. It is a story of what survives, what is disappearing and what is worth preserving.
Mantis. A study in colour and form
Mantis brings together the Coated Silk Bomber Jacket and Mini Scallop Shorts, pairing the structured finish of coated silk with a vivid seasonal colour.
From Flower to Colour
Wood-Poppy Yellow takes its name from the endangered wildflower and brings its vivid colour into silk.
Preservation
Across Flora & Fragility, we looked towards flowers whose futures are increasingly uncertain.
The iris reminds us that something does not need to disappear before it becomes worth protecting.
